This place is worth the short drive off the main street! Tucked in a little corner, Leila’s offers a wide variety of sweet and savory empanadas. There are several meat and vegetarian options to choose from. Aside from the hot and ready to choose from, they also offer pre-packaged frozen ones to take and make at home. Empanada’s are individually priced based on filling. I tried the artichoke, breakfast, ham & cheese, apple, and chorizo. The artichoke and chorizo were my favorites. Honestly I could have tried one of each they were SO GOOD. Perfect flaky crust, delicious filling, and each is paired with a sauce dipping cup. There is plenty of indoor seating and they offer bottled drinks as well. Perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch spot. Or you can take and bake at home for dinner. Will be returning!

Me and my child love this place, my son runs around yelling that he wants Lay Lays Empanadas we as a family love the pizza and breakfast empanadas 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Amazing place to eat. I’ve never felt strongly enough to write a review like this before but my gosh! The food was way too good. I paid on average Six dollars for one empanada, They may look small, but they filled me up. I spent $20 got four empanadas And they were so filling I couldn’t finish The fourth one. I am a big guy and normally I eat a lot, but this place filled me up for $20 and was all Handmade. I purchased some frozen breakfast empanadas and I’m excited to be hungry again!!!!

The four empanadas I chose were, The buffalo Chicken empanada, Breakfast, Spinach artichoke, And pepperoni and cheese. The breakfast one tasted so good the eggs Insanely fluffy the bacon was not bacon bits, It was real bacon. The buffalo chicken tasted like it was made from scratch, which I’m assuming it was. And the pepperoni and cheese tasted like a very Healthy cheese pizza In a good way. They had many more flavors. They’re like Philly cheesesteak and sweet flavor flavors. I will be back to Try them all!!!!!

This place is legit and authentic I highly recommend for anybody who’s up here in the area. I’ve had many empanadas in my life In this place takes the Cake.

This place is a must try! Trust me, you’ll want to come back.

I’m gluten free due to a minor allergy, so I can still eat some gluten but I try to avoid it. I say that because I miss real good bread, it’s hard to find a true replacement. However, their gluten free empanadas are so good, you will think they gave you the wrong order by mistake! They only have chicken and pepperoni (hopefully for now), but they were delicious.

The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. Yes, I had to try a sweet empanada also (not gluten free) and oh my god!

I’ve been a quiet, devoted fan of Leila’s frozen empanadas for quite some time. But nothing compares to tasting them fresh. They are absolutely delicious, and each empanada offers a delightful surprise with every bite, like opening a little Pandora’s box of flavor. Even the dips are perfectly paired and elevate the experience. The owners are genuinely warm and friendly, which makes every visit even more special. I truly love it here.

We finally got a chance to get takeout from Leila’s Empanadas. The buffalo chicken was very good and the pulled pork was even better! The dessert empanadas were also delicious. We will definitely be back and we’re grateful there’s such a hidden gem in Anthem. Wish we found it sooner!

Tucked away in the business district of Anthem is this hidden gem. My friend at work brought them in for lunch and upon seeing them, I asked if he brought enough for the whole class. They looked fantastic.

The next day I had to stop in. I’m so glad I did. Firstly she was so friendly and answered all my questions. Then I made my decision and got a pulled pork and a beef empanada. They each came with their own sauce/salsa which was a nice touch.

Each were bursting at the seems with meat. Very good value. The pastry was flaky and delicious and the fillings were great. Next time, I’m bringing the whole family. Absolutely thrilled.

Great little restaurant with plenty of space to dine in. The empanadas were very delicious and the service was very friendly. Frozen options to go are available as well as fresh ones ready to eat.
